Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Once is an app for adults only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Adults only
You must be 18 or older to use Once. Minors are not allowed to create an account. Any account that we find, or are told, belongs to a minor is deleted.
What is prohibited
- Any content that involves a minor in a sexual way: photos, drawings, text, or any other form.
- Sharing, requesting or circulating child sexual abuse material.
- Any sexual solicitation, sextortion or attempt to approach a minor.
- Any content that promotes or trivialises the abuse of children.
These rules apply everywhere in the app, and to every photo sent.
Automatic filter
Every photo is checked automatically before it is delivered. Sexual content involving minors is blocked. When a photo is sexual in nature, an extra check estimates the apparent age of the people shown: if any of them may be under 18, the photo is refused and never delivered. If this check can't be done, the photo isn't sent. These filters are not foolproof: reports remain essential.
How to report
In the app, open the photo you received (or tap “Report without opening”), then choose a reason. You can block the sender at the same time. You can also write to contact@oncephoto.com at any time, even without an account.
What we do
- Reports involving a minor are handled first.
- The content is removed immediately and the account is permanently deleted.
- We report child sexual abuse material and suspected exploitation to the competent authorities, including through PHAROS, France's official reporting platform (internet-signalement.gouv.fr), and we cooperate with their investigations in accordance with the law.
